Wedge sandals are among the most popular styles this spring for women’s shoes. They can be fun to wear, yet comfortable too. One of the most popular shoes this spring is the Stef wedge by Gabriella Rocha. It is a simple slide with a stylized cork-style heel. You can wear these
Many of the most popular wedge sandals this spring have cork-style heels which make them light on your feet.
When choosing dress flats, think of flattering and yet comfortable styles you can wear all day or evening. Choose dress flats that compliment your wardrobe and style and that can be worn interchangeably with a
variety of things. For instance, a bronze or pewter colored dress flat is ideal with dressy evening wear whether it be a holiday skirt or black dress pants and a silk blouse. Lots of brides choose dress flats for their wedding gowns and there are some gorgeous ones to choose from. Dress flats are also great for an office environment/work place and not quite as painful on the feet as high heels. Take a look at some of my choices and suggestions for great dress flats:
Not to be confused with “slides,” clogs and mules are more casual and have a closed toe, whereas slides are dressier and may have an open or closed toe area.
Clogs and mules are great for comfort and support and look super with jeans and casual slacks.
If you work in the medical field, or in a casual office atmosphere, these types of shoes allow your feet plenty of room, comfort, as well as a bit of style.
Leather or suede are your best bets in casual clogs and/or mules because they provide more durability and comfort!
Mostly worn in the fall and winter seasons.
Clogs and mules look best if your heel is not hanging over the end of your shoe, so make sure you buy them long enough.
Think ahead for that Valentine’s Day dinner date, an at home dinner for two, or a get-together with friends…. Think pink (or red, or purple) and treat yourself or a loved one to a pair of fun shoes that you might not ordinarily buy!
If you are feeling overwhelmed by the many boot choices available online and in the stores, take a few minutes to determine exactly what kind of boot you need before you shop. If you are just going to buy one boot consider your wardrobe and what you’ll get the most use out of.
Remember that leather boots are best because they allow your feet to breathe, mold to your feet, and are more comfortable and longer lasting. I also think leather boots are more beautiful than a man-made material. So while they may cost more than a man-made material, leather boots last longer and you will wear them more because they are more stylish.
KNEE-HIGH DRESS BOOTS:
Both low-heel and high-heel knee-high dress boots look great with long flowing skirts, straight skirts, right-above or right-below the knee skirts, and business attire. Black leather is a good basic choice because it goes with just about everything, although chocolate, dark brown and tan are great colors too. Color choice in boots depends on your clothing and tastes, of course. Suede boots are beautiful too, but are not as easy to keep up as regular leather. Here are some nice suggestions I found in long dress boots:
From riding boots, western boots or just plain, low-heeled fun boots, everyone should have a casual pair in their closet. Wonderful for fall and winter days and nights.
Not too high, not too pointy, not too dressy, not too casual….it’s just right. What a perfect short boot! Narilla by Vaneli
Smooth and sleek and perfect for wearing all day with business attire.
The red heel sells this dressy pump for me. What a gorgeous combination of wild and exotic. Now I just need to find an outfit that will show them off!
